About Me

Hi, I'm Michael Sager.

I am a native Florida cracker.  I was born and raised in Dunedin FL.  My wife was born and raised in neighboring Clearwater FL. We have 2 beautiful kids that keep us young.

My German Shepherd's name is Leyna - my wife and I were trying to come up with a cool, easy to remember website and my crazy dog was being herself, crazy. My wife commenting on how crazy she is came up with the name "Leyniac", and the site was born.

I work full time during the day as a technical geek for a large commercial / retail organization. I work on desktops, laptops and servers that are primarily windows based OS. I assist with level one all the way through domain admin questions and support.

My main hobby outside of my family is Meteorology, which is the main reason for this site - to allow me to check weather anytime, anywhere. This mostly includes the weather station I have attached to my house that pumps data to various systems every 3 seconds.

I am a member of NOAA Skywarn, MADIS, CWOP, APRSWXNET, and  WUndergound Weather Exchange Network to name a few networks.
